NEEBC Names New Executive Director

Patty has been active in the Employee Benefits industry for over 30 years, with experience both on the provider and the consulting side of the business. In addition, she served as a long time NEEBC Board member and eventually as the President of the Board. Patty is very excited to be serving in this new position, and hopes to bring new ideas that will further engage our members and will attract additional organizations to participate in our programs.

Personally, Patty serves as President of a the Sudbury Military Support Network, and is active in many community organizations. In her free time, she enjoys traveling,  gardening, tennis and golf. Patty and her husband Rick have four grown kids that reside in various locations along the eastern seaboard.

Linda Viens Linda Viens
Manager of Operations and Member Services

Linda S. Viens is Manager of Operations and Member Services at NEEBC. Linda has been with NEEBC for over 20 years. Linda's great joy is in serving the NEEBC membership and helping to design programs and events that are beneficial & rewarding for all NEEBC members.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art. She enjoys volunteering, working with young people, reading, playing music, gardening & cooking.

Linda lives in Somerville, MA with her daughter Ruby and many pets.
Karen Vogt Krone

Karen Vogt Krone
Program & Communications Manager

Karen is the Program Coordinator at NEEBC and is responsible for managing the logistics of program implementation and evaluation. She began her tenure at NEEBC in February 2014.

Karen has a background in academics and research, and is an experienced project manager in professional as well as community and volunteer settings. She has experience with the design, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs in school and community settings.

Karen's volunteer experience includes serving as a Management Consultant for SOAR 55, providing pro bono consulting services to area non-profits. She served three terms on the Sudbury School Committee, and chaired various boards serving a range of community initiatives. In addition to volunteering she enjoys traveling, reading, and is diligently working on her newest sport - golf, much to the amusement of her two adult sons. She lives in Sudbury with her husband, Jay.

Karen has an AS in Dental Hygiene, BS in Health Education, and a Ph.D. in Health Education. 

Kerry Donovan

Administrative Assistant

Kerry provides administrative support and data base management for all membership transactions, including program registration, entering new members, invoicing and payment transactions.  She comes to NEEBC with a strong background in customer relations and data base management.

Kerry enjoys volunteering in community organizations, especially those that her children participate in, and those that benefit individuals with Down Syndrome and Autism. In her free time, Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, especially her daughters, her nephews, and niece.  She also enjoys a multitude of crafts; from handmade cards and various paper projects to wreath making and refinishing furniture. When given the opportunity, Kerry enjoys to travel; she has been to Ireland over 20 times and as far away as Vietnam.

Kerry lives in Billerica with her daughters and their dog Maggie.
